Jessica Dale asked:
The beneficial bacteria in yogurt is an excellent method to get rid of a vaginal infection. Specifically in the sense of a yeast infection where the bacteria can directly destroy yeast development. There are a few good ways to use yogurt to get rid of a vaginal infection. I’ll list them out in this article and then I’ll provide some other solutions to also try out for the best success.
Eat it – Of course you can eat yogurt, it must be unsweetened however as any sugar whatsoever will increase the yeast infection and make you suffer for an extended amount of time. Eating a brand of yogurt that is high in the bio active bacteria such as Bio-K is ideal, many other brands claim to contain bacterial cultures, but to put it in perspective a Bio-K yogurt contains as much beneficial bacteria as 50 yogurts of most other brands. So don’t read into all the hype surrounding many popular brands advertised on TV for the most part they won’t be able to make a dent into your infection.
Another form of yogurt you can try is Kefir. This is a yogurt made from goats milk, it too is very high in beneficial bacteria and can be easier to digest than normal yogurt. As well try to only use organic yogurt as any other kind will contain hormones and steroids passed on from the cows milk.
Apply it – By this I mean take some yogurt and apply it to any and all affected areas of the ******. You can also freeze yogurt into popsicles or ice cubes and apply it this way to provide an additional cooling sensation for a burning yeast infection.

John Cielo asked:
Does yogurt prevent yeast infections? Well, many women say that it does. But why do they use yogurt instead of their normal prescription and over-the-counter creams and pessaries etc? You’ll find out here just why these women have turned to yogurt to prevent yeast infections, and why it could be the solution you’ve been searching for.
In women, yogurt is used mainly for vaginal yeast infections and usually after the symptoms have appeared; things like an inflamed ***** / vagina, itching, pain when urinating, white discharge, difficulty having sex, etc.
But why yogurt to prevent yeast infections and not mainstream remedies? Well, these are drug-based and are designed to fight the local symptoms, not the root cause of yeast infections. Plus, as they are drug-based, the Candida fungi can become resistant to them. So sufferers are getting a short term fix. Oftentimes the result is recurring yeast infections, so now many women are looking to natural home remedies like yogurt.
To treat vaginal yeast infection you can simply apply the yogurt over the vulva, labia, etc. You can also soak a regular tampon in the yogurt and use during the night. Repeat until the symptoms go away, plus one or two more days.
But here’s the key; the yogurt used has to be plain with no added fruit, coloring or sugar. And it needs to be labelled as containing “active cultures”. These are the magic ingredient. One of these active cultures is called Lactobacillus acidophilus. Now this is a beneficial bacteria which we also have naturally in our bodies. One of the things it does is to keep the cause of your yeast infection under control, thus preventing infections from occurring.
And the cause of your yeast infection? The cause is a yeast-like fungus called Candida Albicans which is found naturally in our bodies, particularly in the warm, moist areas like the intestinal tract and vagina, etc. But as you’ve seen above it normally doesn’t cause you any problems due to your good bacteria.
So can yogurt prevent yeast infections? The yogurt treatment described earlier is to combat an existing vaginal yeast infection condition. To prevent further infections you can eat plain yogurt every day. This helps to replace and build-up the good bacteria in your intestinal tract where yeast infections can actually start.
As I said earlier many women have had successful outcomes. But many haven’t. The problem is that a permanent cure for yeast infection needs to address all aspects of the condition; not just the symptoms, but the root cause, and, issues such as lifestyle and diet which can provide the underlying conditions necessary for a Candida Albicans overgrow. A complete cure requires a complete end-to-end natural treatment program.
You can get the facts on probably the most popular and successful natural treatment program for yeast infection by going now to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com. It has been successfully used by thousands of women worldwide, with reports of relief from yeast infection within as little as 12 hours.

A yeast infection yogurt tampon is a pretty effective method for treating vaginal yeast infection (candida). It’s simple to do and way cheaper than drug-based medications that, in any case, only address the local symptoms and not the root cause of yeast infections. You’ll find out here just how to use a yeast infection yogurt tampon.
The first thing you must know is that the yogurt to be used has to be plain, unsweetened yogurt. It must not have any fruit nor coloring added. And very important, it must have “with active cultures” or similar wording on the container or label. You can get it in health food stores, grocery stores and some supermarkets.
One of the active cultures contained in this yogurt is Lactobacillus acidophilus which is a ‘friendly’ or ‘good’ bacteria we also find in our bodies. It helps to prevent the cause of yeast infection — the Candida Albicans fungus — from overgrowing and causing an infection.
The Candida Albicans fungus can be found quite naturally in most of us. It normally doesn’t cause any problems because our body’s good bacteria prevents it from multiplying and spreading. It’s this ‘overgrow’ that causes your symptoms of yeast infection. An infection can be almost anywhere on or in your body, but the most common place for women is the ******.
So here’s how to use a vaginal yeast infection yogurt tampon: Just soak a regular tampon in the yogurt and use as normal overnight. Repeat the procedure every night until your symptoms disappear.
For the lips and ***** just apply the yogurt directly; a bit messy but effective.
Eating yogurt everyday will help build-up the good bacteria in your intestinal tract to help fight the Candida there and prevent yeast infections. Remember to keep your edible yogurt separate from the yogurt you use for applying directly.
Many women swear by using a vaginal yeast infection yogurt tampon for getting rid of the symptoms. But yeast infections are normally too complex to be permanently eradicated using a single home remedy. As well as the symptoms, you have to take care of the root cause and any other issues that can ‘trigger’ the Candida overgrow. For example, diet and lifestyle issues. Without this complete approach you could face recurring yeast infections where the symptoms certainly go only to return again and again.
For the facts on a totally natural, permanent cure for your yeast infection please go to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com. It’s a complete, natural yeast infection treatment system that has been successfully used by thousands of ex-sufferers worldwide. It’ll only take a couple of minutes.

Jeams Hinaloc asked:
AS A normal person, you would like to live for a long, long time. But how long can you expect to live? What is the limit of the human life span? Can you do anything to extend your life span? What is the secret of longevity? These are good questions, and finding the answer to them might help you to live much longer than seems possible at present.
Before looking for these answers, we have to clarify the difference between two important expressions: “life span” and “life expectancy.” Life span refers to the biological limit to the length of life. Life expectancy refers to the average number of years that a group of people born at the same time might be expected to live. Sadly, throughout history man’s life expectancy has fallen far short of his life span.
Life Expectancy at Various Times
“In a man’s length of days he may see and suffer many things that he much mislikes. For I set the limit of man’s life at seventy years.” These were the words of Solon, an Athenian statesman and Greek lawmaker who lived about 600 B.C.E. Thus, according to him, the life span was 70 years. However, according to data from burial inscriptions, about 400 B.C.E. the life expectancy in Greece was approximately 29 years.
In ancient times, apparently the life expectancy in various countries of Europe did not vary substantially from that in ancient Greece. Because of the high death rate at an early age, the average life expectancy fell far short of the life span. The box on the next page gives the average age at death in some European countries, providing a comparison of that of ancient times with the life expectancy about the year 1900 and at the present time.
Regarding the increase in life expectancy, James F. Fries and Lawrence M. Crapo wrote in their work Vitality and Aging, 1981, pages 74-6:
“The average length of life in the United States has increased from approximately 47 years at the turn of the century to over 73 years today, an increase of more than 25 years. . . . A critical look at these data, however, shows that the increase in life expectancy results from the elimination of premature death rather than by extension of the natural life span. When life expectancy is calculated from particular ages, the higher the age, the less is the increase. From age 40, life expectancy has increased relatively little. From age 75, the increase is barely perceptible. Beyond the age of 85, an increase cannot be confidently determined at all. . . . The best projections we can develop indicate that the median natural human life span is set at a maximum of 85 years.”
But what about the possibility of extending the life span significantly by diet, vitamins, drugs, and so forth? On page 18 of their work, Fries and Crapo explain:
“For hundreds of years, alchemists attempted to prepare rejuvenating elixirs, without success. Literally hundreds of substances, including herbs, drugs, vitamins, extracts of animal cells, fermented milk, and various serums and potions have been reported to have rejuvenating properties, without convincing evidence. In our own country, the traditional snake oil potions have fallen into disrepute, but we do still have our vitamins. Recently, the drug gerovital has been promoted by Aslan in Rumania as an agent to prevent aging. Gerovital, whose main ingredient is the local anesthetic Novocaine, has been used in treatment of Khrushchev [1894-1971], Sukarno [1901-1970], Ho Chi Minh [1890-1969], and other dignitaries. There exists, of course, no evidence that this agent has any such effects, and there are no a priori reasons to assume that it should. The persons cited as examples of prominent users by gerovital proponents all died, and at unremarkable ages.
“In 1974, Packer and Smith published a paper in a prestigious American scientific journal reporting experiments that seemed to show that vitamin E markedly prolonged the life span of normal human fibroblast cells cultured in a laboratory flask. Later, they retracted this claim, when neither they nor others were able to reproduce the experimental results. To date, no diets, lifestyles, vitamins, drugs, or tonics have been shown to extend the human life span. Of the 4 billion human beings who have lived and died, nearly every possible combination of diet, chemical exposure, and psychological life must have existed. The absence of super-centenarians argues strongly that there is no easy track to long life, or someone would have found it by now.”
Clearly, humans have not been capable of extending their life span, although particularly by reducing the number of deaths from childhood diseases, life expectancy has been extended somewhat. From the human standpoint, the hope of extending the life span is dim indeed. However, there is a sure hope that the human life span will be extended. By what means?

Learn how to treat a yeast infection with yogurt and other home remedies. You will also learn of a completely natural approach to a fast, permanent cure that could be the complete answer to your yeast infection problems, and, in as little as 12 hours.
Over 75% of women have at least one yeast infection during their lifetime, so you are not alone. But, very many will have multiple, or, recurring yeast infections. Perhaps you are, or will be, one of them.
So, how do you treat a yeast infection with yogurt?
Natural, non-flavored, sugarless yogurt is a well known home remedy. It contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, a naturally occurring bacteria in healthy *******. This will kill the excess yeast and is recommended by many health-care professionals.
Just apply to the ***** and the inside of the ******. You can use a syringe without the needle, or better still, coat a tampon and insert as normal into your ******. Do this twice or three times a day.
And there are other home remedies to treat a yeast infection. The following are just some of the most popular…
Curds and buttermilk: Use curds in exactly the same way as the yogurt, and, drink a glass of buttermilk each morning and evening.
Apple cider vinegar: Add 1 cup of vinegar to a bathtub of warm water and soak there for 20 to 30 minutes. Always dry thoroughly, but gently.
Honey: Apply honey on the affected areas and leave for about 20 minutes or so. To make things easier you can sit on the toilet seat while you apply it and remain there until the time is up. Then bathe in warm water to remove the honey and dry thoroughly but gently.
Garlic: Make up a tampon by wrapping 1 peeled clove of garlic in cheesecloth and tying together with un-waxed dental floss. Leave a length of floss so that you can extract the tampon. Leave it in overnight and remove in the morning. Repeat until the symptoms disappear plus 1 day.
Of course, these are only some of the things you can do to treat a yeast infection. To make really sure of a cure, you need to look at not only home remedies, but, your diet and whole lifestyle.
And that’s what more and more women (and men) are now doing. To treat a yeast infection, they are taking a more natural, holistic approach to their treatment so that they can rid themselves of their yeast infection fast, but more importantly, permanently.
And they have done it through a 100% natural yeast infection treatment programme that they simply downloaded over the internet, so that they were able to start on their cure in minutes. Feedback from them shows cures in as little as 12 hours.

Suffering from a horrible yeast infection? Yogurt is being used more and more as a home remedy for yeast infection. Yogurt, applied directly to the affected area, can relieve burning and itching. Taken internally yogurt can help to fight yeast infections by re-balancing the good bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. It’s all explained here.
The first thing to know is that it has to be plain, unsweetened, with no added sugar or flavorings, or any fruit. You should be able to get it from your local grocery store. But check the labeling to make sure it is as I have just described. Also check that the labeling says that it contains ‘active cultures’ or ‘live and active cultures’.
What are ‘live and active cultures’ and how can they help with my yeast infection? Yogurt contains the living organisms that converted the pasteurized milk to yogurt during the fermentation process. One of these is called ‘Lactobacillus acidophilus’ which also occurs naturally in the human gastrointestinal tract, mouth and ******. These are beneficial bacteria that fight and check the growth of the Candida albicans fungi that cause yeast infections when they multiply and ’overgrow’.
So eating around 8 oz of yogurt daily helps to fight and prevent yeast infections. The Lactobacillus acidophilus in the yogurt also helps to build up your body’s immune system. This is important because a lowered immune system is one of the conditions that can ‘trigger’ a Candida overgrow thus causing a yeast infection.
For vaginal yeast infection, yogurt can be applied over the outer area, labia, ***** etc. Internally, it’s easier to soak a regular tampon in yogurt and insert over night. Repeat this until the symptoms disappear. The acid produced by Lactobacillus acidophilus in the ****** helps to check the Candida’s growth and aids healing, thus relieving the itching and burning.
As with most things this isn’t the whole story. Although yogurt is great for yeast infection, it’s only part of the total solution. A complete cure depends not only on getting rid of the symptoms but also root cause and triggers like diet and lifestyle issues. If these aren’t properly addressed the chances are that your yeast infection may just return.
For information on a very popular and highly successful natural cure for yeast infection, without expensive drugs with their possible side effects, please now go to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com and get started on your complete cure in minutes.

John Cielo asked:
You can utilise yogurt for vaginal yeast infection just as thousands of women worldwide have done. When using the yogurt vaginal yeast infection home remedy keep in mind that you are using it to battle the cause of your infection which is the Candida Albicans fungi. You are using a key benefit of yogurt to effectively keep this fungi in check so that it doesn’t multiply. It’s this ‘overgrow’ that causes your vaginal yeast infection.
First, a word of warning. The yogurt needs to be the plain variety. That means that there are no added sugars, coloring or fruit. Then you need to check that the container or label says “live and active cultures”. Ask the store assistant to help if need be.
Why are these active cultures important? Well, one in particular called Lactobacillus acidophilus is what is termed a ‘good’ or ‘beneficial’ bacteria. And it’s important because it’s one of the many good bacteria we have in our bodies. This one manages the numbers of Candida Albicans — which also occur naturally in our bodies — so that they don’t overgrow and cause yeast infections.
Sometimes, though, the numbers of good bacteria aren’t sufficient to prevent the Candida fungi from overgrowing. This can happen due to things like too much antibiotics, steroids, diabetes, a lowered immune system, poor diet, drug habits, etc. When this happens you have a yeast infection. These can appear most anywhere; the intestinal tract, vagina, mouth, anus, etc. The most common among women sufferers is vaginal yeast infection.
Now, let’s look at how you’ll use the yogurt vaginal yeast infection remedy…
The first way to use it is simply consume plain yogurt every day. Over time, this will build up your good bacteria in your intestinal tract and re-address the good / bad bacteria balance there. This will help prevent yeast infections spreading from there to, for example, the ******.
As a topical remedy, apply plain yogurt directly to the ***** and *****. In addition, coat a tampon with the yogurt and leave in overnight. Repeat each night until your vaginal yeast infection symptoms are eliminated, but repeat for a further 2 nights to make sure.
There is no doubt that most women will feel the benefits of using yogurt for vaginal yeast infection. But for many women, vaginal yeast infections can be very stubborn, i.e. the symptoms go away but return in time, again and again. One of the reasons is that yogurt on its own cannot deal with the underlying conditions that help trigger the Candida overgrow, e.g. diet and lifestyle choices. That’s why many women have had to turn to a complete natural treatment program.

You can utilise yogurt for vaginal yeast infection just as thousands of women worldwide have done.

A yogurt yeast infection remedy is an effective way to get rid of the symptoms of yeast infections without expensive drugs. It is increasingly being used as sufferers turn from their drug-based medications to more natural remedies. Here you’ll get to know why, and the best ways to use the yogurt yeast infection remedy.
But to understand just how it works you first need to be aware of the cause of yeast infection…
Any yeast infection remedy has to take account of a yeast-like fungus called Candida Albicans. This is found in our bodies but normally doesn’t do us any harm, because there is enough of our body’s ‘friendly’ bacteria to keep it in order, i.e. it doesn’t multiply or ‘overgrow’ out of control.
But there are situations where the Candida fungi does overgrow and it’s this that causes your yeast infection. These situations or ‘triggers’ are things such as too much antibiotics and / or steroids, poor diet, being overweight, a compromised immune system, stress, oral contraceptives, body pH, and many more.
Why are many sufferers turning to natural remedies for yeast infection? Probably because their mainstream topical creams and pessaries they get over-the-counter or through prescription are failing to cure their yeast infections permanently. These drug-based medications attack the local symptoms not the root cause. And the Canida Albicans can become resistant to the drugs. The outcome is recurring yeast infections.
So just what makes a yogurt yeast infection remedy so effective in many sufferers eyes? First off, it can’t be everyday yogurt, it must be plain yogurt with no sugar or fruit or color added. Further, it has to have “active cultures” printed on the label or container. This is important because it’s one of these cultures that is the actual yeast infection remedy. It’s called Lactobacillus acidophilus and is what is known as a ‘friendly’ bacteria. It’s also one of the friendly bacteria that we have in our body. So by using yogurt we are effectively building up our reserves of good bacteria to prevent yeast infections.
Eating plain yogurt everyday will help to address the Canida Albicans in the intestinal tract, which can be the starting point for yeast infections elsewhere.
Applying it to the local area symptoms will fight the Candida fungi there, for example the ******. Externally, you can apply directly to the ***** and lips. Internally, you can soak a tampon in the yogurt and use overnight. Repeat the process until your symptoms have gone.
But yeast infection is pretty complex and just one home remedy on its own won’t necessarily give you a complete cure. For a permanent cure you need to address not just the local symptoms, but the root cause and other issues like diet and lifestyle. i.e. A complete treatment program and, of course, all without expensive drugs.
I hope you have found this article informative. Now fastrack your cure by going to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com where you’ll get the facts on a 100% natural yeast infection remedy program that has been used successfully by thousands of ex-victims worldwide.

Got a nasty vaginal yeast infection? Yogurt is being used by more and more women to help clear up their vaginal yeast infection. Many have reported that yogurt has been the most effective of all the vaginal yeast infection home remedies they have tried. Here you’ll discover why.
Yeast infections are caused by a yeast-like fungi called Candida Albicans. This lives in our bodies quite naturally without giving us any problems normally. And this is because our body’s beneficial bacteria keeps it in check, so that it doesn’t overgrow and multiply. It’s when this happens that yeast infections occur. So normally there are no problems.
But now and again, for a number of reasons, the Candida is able to overgrow. The reasons for this are things like, antibiotics overuse, diabetes, bad diet, lowered immune system, drug habit, underlying illness, etc. Any of these conditions and more can help ’trigger’ a Candida overgrow.
For your vaginal yeast infection, yogurt has to be plain, unsweetened, with no fruit or flavorings. It must have something like ‘live and active cultures’ printed on the container. It’s these active cultures that you need to help clear up your vaginal yeast infection.
For vaginal yeast infection, yogurt can be applied directly to the vagina, ***** etc., or internally using a tampon. Simply soak a tampon in yogurt and leave in overnight. Repeat nightly until the symptoms go away. What happens is that the Lactobacillus acidophilus good bacteria in the yogurt re-balances the vaginal pH (measure of acidity) and starts eliminating the Candida fungi. Many women report that their symptoms have gone pretty quickly.
Yogurt can be a very effective natural remedy. But remember the root cause and underlying conditions? Things like diet and lifestyle also have to be addressed for a complete cure. Unfortunately drug-based topical creams etc., only attack the local symptoms. So a totally natural approach is what more and more women are now searching for to cure their yeast infections properly.
